Our U.S. Operations with its centrally located office and warehouse close to Chicago O’Hare International Airport provides full scale warehousing, inventory control/management, storage, order management capabilities and just-in-time delivery services to our U.S. customers. This facility also has design engineering capability to help our customers with pre and post manufacturing design questions.
We are a full-service warehouse/transportation brokerage structured to meet a customer’s wide-ranging freight transportation needs - from routine warehousing storage to motor carrier shipments to complex rail-truck international movements.
Our U.S. Operations team will oversee the arrival, inspection and resolution of any quality questions which may arise in the U.S. To reduce quality issues, our U.S. team works closely with their counterparts in Turkey that supervises all work performed overseas on our behalf, using state of the art product quality assurance methodologies. This close work between SMI’s full time staff in both countries minimizes problems once the product is in the U.S. Once the products are in the U.S., quality audit checking programs are implemented where needed or requested by our customers.
